In the black-ish episode “Elder. Scam.” Dre (Anthony Anderson) worries about his mother Ruby (Jenifer Lewis) who was a victim of elder scam. Meanwhile, Zoey (Yara Shahidi) brings her friend Aaron home and little sister Diane (Marsai Martin) develops an instant crush on him. Zoey’s mother (Tracie Ellis Ross) isn’t so happy about Zoey having a man in her teenager’s bedroom.
Aaron is portrayed by Trevor Jackson. He’s known for his roles on American Crime (Kevin LaCroix), Austin & Ally (Trent), and Eureka (Kevin Blake), among others. He will reprise his role as Aaron on the black-ish spin-off grown-ish which follows Zoey to college. black-ish airs Tuesdays at 9pm on ABC, right after Fresh off the Boat.
