Scared Famous is a new reality TV series on VH1. Ten people from other VH1 reality shows including Mob Wives’ Drita D’Avanzo, Love & Hip Hop’s Erica Mena, and Flavor of Love and I Love New York’s Tiffany Pollard compete against each other. They try to complete challenges (including facing creepy twin girls reminiscent of The Shining) in a haunted house in Savannah, Georgia. It’s okay to laugh — it’s supposed to be funny. But the prize is no joke. The winner gets $100,000 for his/her favorite charity and bragging rights in the reality TV world. The host of Scared Famous is rapper/actor Redman.
[Redman was nominated for a Grammy for Christina Aguilera’s 2002 hit Dirrty]
Redman, the Newark, New Jersey native, is known for his days with Def Jam in the early 1990s, and for his collaborations with friend Method Man. Redman and Method Man released two albums together, Blackout! in 1999 and Blackout! 2 ten years later in 2009. Redman’s most recent solo album is Mudface. His ninth studio album Muddy Waters, Too will be released in 2018. Scared Famous airs Mondays at 9pm on VH1.
