It’s an awesome title to write and it happens to be true and you can watch it on TV. Hollywood star Rob Lowe (The West Wing, Austin Powers, The Outsiders, The Hotel New Hampshire) and his two sons Matthew and John Owen are the stars of The Lowe Files, a series on A&E that follows the family as they investigate unsolved mysteries. A&E is home to several investigative series including The First 48, 60 Days In, and Cold Case Files.

In the episode “The Wood Apes,” the Lowes travel to the backwoods of Oklahoma (in the Ozark mountains) to find the legendary Bigfoot, which in Oklahoma is known as The Wood Ape. While promoting the show, Rob Lowe said when he saw the Wood Ape, he was “terrified” and feared death. He also said he was aware that he sounded like “a Hollywood kook”. The Lowe Files airs Wednesdays at 10pm on A&E.
