Stand-up comedian Preacher Lawson has a big advantage in his quest to win Season 12 of America’s Got Talent. First of all, he’s talented. Secondly, he’s the only comedian who made it to the Top 10. (Six of the 10 are singers!) Lawson gets to perform one more time live on AGT on Tuesday, September 19 before the winner is announced on Wednesday, September 20.
Whether Lawson wins or not doesn’t really matter — well, the $1 million does matter. But Lawson’s already got a sweet career touring the country and he’s making hilarious music videos including “Peed in the Shower.” (see below) Preacher says there are two kinds of people in the world, those who pee in the shower and those who lie about it. Multiple AGT judges have said that Lawson has the full package to succeed, and that it’s only a matter of time before he hits it with his own sitcom or the equivalent. Expect to see his “Peed in the Shower” routine work its way into an episode of whichever show Lawson does next. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
