It’s down to the Top 10 on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. And six of the ten are singers! All ten acts get to perform one more time before the winner is announced on Wednesday, September 20. And that includes Mandy Harvey, the beautiful singer/songwriter who became deaf at the age of 18.
One of Mandy’s biggest fans and supporters on social media is Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin. Matlin, who is also deaf, won an Oscar for her acting debut in the 1986 film Children of a Lesser God (see link above), which his based on Mark Medoff’s Tony Award-winning play. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
