In the Kendra on Top season finale episode, Kendra Wilkinson Baskett has dinner with the publisher who has been encouraging Kendra’s mother Patti Wilkinson to write a tell-all book. The publisher tells Kendra what she told Patti: “If you’re going to write a book, you have to tell the truth. You have to let your secrets out – you have to open your heart, open your mind, open your soul, cut right into the veins and let it out, let it bleed.” The publisher continues: “You have to reveal things, and she did.” Whoa, says Kendra. Patti told Kendra she wasn’t writing the book. The publisher tells Kendra, “She’s already written stuff that she’s given me.” She adds, “And she’s really a gifted storyteller.” The publisher brought Patti’s manuscript with her and explains to Kendra that Patti “took an offer to write a couple of chapters” so she’s not “totally committed.” The publisher says she paid Patti $10,000 for her work and suggests that Kendra read it and “give her a chance.”

After the meeting, Kendra tells the camera, “I hope that $10,000 gets her want she wants in her life, because it cost her everything I thought she wanted.” Kendra on Top airs Fridays at 9pm on WEtv.
