Bello Nock is the comic daredevil from Sarasota, Florida competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. For his audition Bello climbed up a 37-foot pole and swayed back and forth without a harness. He told Simon Cowell that for his next performance, during the Judge Cuts, he would shoot out of a cannonball and fly over a helicopter. Bello is calling it “a leap of faith” and he’s determined “to put a new face or a new spin on people’s perceptions of what a clown is.”
Bello Nock’s run on America’s Got Talent is probably more important to him than ever. You used to be able to catch him as the headliner at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, which is now closed after being around for nearly a century. Bello also spends a lot of time with his family. Bello recently introduced his baby granddaughter to his social media followers — she’s a ninth generation circus performer. “Doing talk shows before she can talk,” says a proud Bello. See photos below. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
