On the second episode of The Battle of the Network Stars, five “variety” stars will compete against “TV sex symbols.” While some viewers might argue that former Playboy cover model Joanna Krupa should be on the Sex Symbols team, there won’t be any debate regarding Galen Gering‘s place on the Sex Symbols team.
Galen is one of the five celebrities playing on the Sex Symbols team. He’s known for his roles on the soap operas Days of Our Lives (Rafe Hernandez) and Passions. The former model landed his first role in 1999 on Passions as Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald. The following year he was named one of People’s 50 Most Beautiful People. He stayed with Passions until it was cancelled in 2008. He’s been on Days ever since 2008. Gering is married to model and actress Jenna Hudlett, mother of his two children (see below). The Battle of the Network Stars airs Thursdays at 9pm on ABC.
