Even the reliably conservative New York Post had a field day with Donald Trump Jr. after the Russian meeting email “transparency” business. Not only did the Post excoriate the Don Jr, but the right-leaning aggregator Drudge Report linked to the Post editorial, which called Don Jr’s meeting “criminally stupid.”
The Post is less concerned about alleged Trump-Russian collusion than Don Jr’s naivete. Did you really think, the Post wonders about Don Jr, that the Kremlin was going to reach out through such unsophisticated means? “Dumb. Dumb. Dumb,” writes the Post, positing that stupidity alone, not anything worse, was Don Jr’s crime.
