On Basketball Wives, Tami Roman tells returning wife Jennifer Williams (Season 1-4) that the other returning wife Evelyn Lozada has “learned how to fine tune her anger.” Tami says if she and Evelyn can move past their past, so can Evelyn and Jen who have not spoken for five years. Jen recalls, “Evelyn was evil back in the day,” however, “the fact that we don’t have a relationship actually makes me really sad,” because they have so much history.
Jen also says “The last few years have definitely been rough on me.” She’s lost her mother and has gone through a divorce with former NBA basketball player Eric Williams. They met in 2000, five years after the 6’8” small forward was selected by the Boston Celtics in the 1995 NBA Draft. He went on to play for the Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Jersey Nets, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs, and Charlotte Bobcats. Williams averaged 8.6 points per game for his career and played his last NBA season in 2007. Basketball Wives airs Mondays at 9pm on VH1.
