On the Season premiere of Teen Mom OG, ‘A Fresh Start’, old relationships continue to haunt the former teen moms. While Maci Bookout tries to coordinate her son Bentley’s trick or treating schedule with her ex Ryan, Amber Portwood gets upset when her ex Gary doesn’t let their daughter Leah stay with her on a school night. “It makes me feel like I’m incompetent,” she adds in between sobs, “When I’m a damn good mom.”
Amber has learned something over the years, as she tells her fiancé Matt Baier: “I can’t get stupid with him (Gary) because that’s not going to change anything.” Matt somberly agrees. He explains to the camera that Amber “feels like she has no control and that’s an awful feeling for a parent.” Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
