First Dates is a new reality TV show that films strangers on first dates. In the series premiere episode “Wine Makes Me Crazy,” we see an attractive couple, Woody and Katheryn, sitting at a bar having drinks. Katheryn confesses to her date Woody, “Wine makes me crazy, champagne makes me psycho, and I had both of them.”
A number of awkward moments ensue including a fallen wine glass and the delivery of the check. When Woody asks, “How do you wanna do this?” Katheryn says, “I think the man should always pay…100 percent.” And she doesn’t want to know how much it is. Woody excuses himself from the bar. P.S. The tab is $200! First Dates airs Fridays at 8pm on NBC.
