The new reality TV show Hustle & Soul on WE stars restaurateur and chef Lawrence Page. In 2010, Page assumed the past debt of the legendary family-owned restaurant The Pink Tea Cup in Manhattan and has been busy reviving the fried chicken and waffles restaurant in Brooklyn. In the Hustle & Soul series premiere episode “Girl Just Wanna Eat Some Chicken!”, Lawrence finds time to flirt with bartender Candice which irks his girlfriend/general manager Ana. Yes, it gets messy.

Before buying The Pink Tea Cup, Lawrence wrote screenplays and directed films including Confessions of a Call Girl starring Tamala Jones (Lanie Parish on Castle) and Lynn Whitfield. Lots of celebrities stop by the Pink Tea Cup including fellow director, Brooklyn native Spike Lee (see below). Hustle & Soul airs Thursdays at 10pm on WE.
