The Skin Tight Transformed episode “Jenae & Julie” tells the stories of Jenae, a woman who gained 200 lbs. after her husband was killed in a car accident, and Julie, who suffered her second miscarraige while her husband was on military deployment.
Julie says she was always overweight. She ate unhealthy foods and then found playing online video games as an escape. While playing video games she met her husband Rashid and within two years, they married. Rashid says Julie’s weight never bother him. After having their first child, a daughter, they wanted to have more. But in 2013, Julie suffered two miscarriages. Immediately after the second miscarriage, Rashid went on military deployment. As Julie explains, “I had to go through losing a child on my own. I was shattered.” And “I emotionally ate myself to 363 pounds.” Skin Tight airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10pm on TLC.
