The protagonist of the new TV series Taken is young CIA operative Bryan Mills (Clive Standen). He’s seeking revenge for the murder of his sister and he has cartel boss Carlos Mejia (Louis Ferreira) on his hit list. When a U.S. clandestine intelligence agency discovers Mills’ mission, they recruit him to become part of the team. The agency is led by Special Deputy Director of National Intelligence Christine Hart.

Christine Hart is portrayed by Jennifer Beals. She’s known for her roles in Proof (Dr. Carolyn Tyler), The Mob Doctor (Celeste LaPree), and The L Word (Bette Porter), among others. Beals is also recognized for her roles in the films The Last Days of Disco (Nina), Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle (Gertrude Benchley), and Flashdance (Alex Owens). Taken airs Mondays at 10pm on NBC.
