In the Code Black episode ‘Vertigo’, while Mario (Benjamin Hollingsworth) risks his life to save two brothers trapped on a crane 40 stories high, Leanne (Marcia Gay Harden) treats the wife of an orthopedist from Angels Hospital who’s brought into the ER with mysterious injuries. Leanne meets the orthopedist’s daughter Lily Blackwell, too.
Lily Blackwell is portrayed by Susie Abromeit. She’s known for her roles on Chicago Med (Zoe Roth), Marvel’s Jessica Jones (Pam), Devious Maids (Dahlia Nova), The Haves and the Have Nots (Laura), Hollywood Heights (Ericka), and As the World Turns (Anna Kasnoff), among others. Fun fact: Abromeit was a top-ranked tennis player before getting a full scholarship to Duke University. Code Black airs Wednesdays at 10pm on CBS.
