On the Duck Dynasty episode ‘Drive-In Revivin’, over a plate of nachos Willie Robertson Jr. tells his parents Willie and Korie Robertson that he’s met a girl at school. The young man says he wants to get her “something really nice.” His father Willie is quick to dish out some advice. “Do not go and spend a lot of money on a gift. You set the bar low.” When Korie objects, Willie continues to tell his son, “You need to use your brain and think of something…” Korie jumps in and says “sweet” but her husband says “free.”

When Willie says, “I’m the master of free gifts” Korie says, “Well, you were the master.” Korie then challenges her millionaire husband to be romantic without spending money. Duck Dynasty airs Wednesdays at 9pm on A&E.
