In the TV movie ‘A Christmas Wedding Date,’ a young woman named Rebecca Wesley (Marla Sokoloff) returns home for the holidays after being let go from her job. She stays with her mother Shirley who helps Rebecca cheer up before attending her friend’s Christmas Eve wedding.
Shirley is portrayed by Catherine Hicks. She’s known for her roles 7th Heaven (Annie Camden) and The Bad News Bears (Dr. Emily Rappant), and in the 1980s films Peggy Sue Got Married (Carol Heath), Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (Dr. Gillian Taylor), Child’s Play (Karen Barclay), and The Razor’s Edge with Bill Murray (Isabel Bradley). A Christmas Wedding Date premieres on Saturday, December 10 at 8pm on Lifetime.
