Bettie Jo Elmore, the 24-year-old woman who weighed close to 700 lbs., was featured on the docu-series My 600-lb. Life. Since having the gastric bypass weight loss surgery, she’s gone from 654lbs. to 445lbs. On the follow-up series, My 600-lb. Life Transformed, Bettie Jo reveals that she’s pregnant and facing another life-threatening physical hurdle. She needs to have a large mass on her spine removed but the surgery could cause her to lose the baby.

According to Bettie Jo’s Twitter account, everything turned out okay. She’s still married to Josh, they had a baby boy, and now they want to move to Missouri. The young couple started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the first month’s rent deposit and other moving costs and expenses. My 600-lb. Life Transformed airs Wednesdays at 9pm on TLC.
