In the Little People, Big World episode ‘What’s a Lamping?’, while newly single Amy Roloff talks about opening a bed-and-breakfast on the farm, her ex-husband Matt Roloff is recovering from his painful neck surgery. While doing so, Matt reflects on all his surgeries going back to his childhood. He talks about it with his son Zach, who is also a little person. Matt tells Zach he’s considering writing a children’s book to help inspire and encourage other children to brave.
Zach tells his father, “I think that’s an awesome idea.” Zach reminiscences about his childhood and how blown away he and his brother Jeremy were when their dad told them stories. Matt says the protagonist of the book is his dog, Lucy Girl. It won’t be Matt’s first book. He is also the author of Against Tall Odds: Being a David in a Goliath World. Little People, Big World airs Tuesdays at 8pm on TLC.
