The second season of Secrets and Lies is very much a family affair. In the first episode of the crime drama series, we meet the Warners. CEO John Warner (Terry O’Quinn) is about to retire and hand the keys to his private equity firm to his son Eric (Michael Ealy). At his retirement party, Eric’s beautiful, smart wife of six months, Kate (Jordana Brewster) falls from a 12-story building. The homicide investigation reveals several of the family’s secrets (and lies) including those belonging to Eric’s jealous, functioning alcoholic brother Patrick (Charlie Barnett) and his out-of-his-league sexy wife Melanie.
Melanie Warner is portrayed by AnnaLynne McCord. The model-turned-actress is known for her roles on The Night Shift (pharma rep Jessica Sanders), Dallas (Heather), 90210 (Naomi Clark), Nip/Tuck (Eden Lord), and American Heiress (Loren Wakefield), among others. Secrets and Lies airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
