For week 3 of Dancing with the Stars, each couple is pitted against another in a Face-Off performance. Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer Ryan Lochte and his pro partner Cheryl Burke will face-off against race car driver James Hinchcliffe and his partner Sharna Burgess. Days prior to the face-off performance, Lochte and Burke were interviewed by Mario Lopez on Extra. Lochte said doing DWTS is “ten times harder” than he expected. “I thought it would be a piece of cake.”
During the interview Lopez talks about how different the training must be from swimming to dancing, “like learning a whole other language, right?” Lochte agrees that it’s like learning a whole new language. “I’m a fish out of the water,” Lochte says with a smile, “Literally.” Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
