In the Sister Wives Season 7 “Tell All” group interview, wife Meri Brown is once again put on the spot for her catfishing scandal. Last year, it was publicly revealed that Meri was having an online relationship with a person she thought was a man named Sam Cooper — but who turned out to be a woman named Jackie Overton.
During the Tell All, TLC host Erica Hill asks Meri questions including why did she use the word love during her online exchanges. Meri explains that she used it like “Ok, ok, love you, bye.” Meri says she warned/told the person, “I’m not crossing any lines.” Hill asks whether just saying that is, in a way, crossing a line – or “was there a fear that maybe at a weak moment you would cross that line. Meri quickly replies, “No.” Meri looks at Kody. “Not for me.” After a pregnant pause, Meri adds, “I know what my boundaries are. And I won’t do that.” When Hill asks Kody if he felt like a line was crossed he dodged the question by saying, “I didn’t know it was going on, I was lost in this.” Sister Wives airs Sundays at 8pm on TLC.
