Actress/singer Jamie Lynn Spears is making a comeback as a singer. The 25-year-old took a hiatus from singing and acting after she had her daughter Maddie in 2008. (Jamie was 16 when she announced her pregnancy.) Since 2013, Spears has been releasing new country music. On March 15, 2016, she performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville; she was introduced on stage by her big sister, Britney Spears.
Jamie Lynn Spears’s latest single is called “Sleepover,” which was released the day before the TV special Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out premieres on TLC (June 26, 10pm). “Sleepover” is a love song that includes the lyrics: “I ain’t saying you ain’t getting me/ and I ain’t saying I ain’t feeling the heat/ I ain’t drunk and you ain’t sober/ Sure feels good leaning on your shoulder.” But then she ends the chorus with “We say no, oh no, no. We say no, oh no, no. We say no to sleepover.” TLC will air Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out on Sunday, June 26 at 10pm.
