In the beginning of the TV movie Below the Surface, things are looking up for scuba-diving instructor Cameron. She likes her job and she’s engaged to Shane (Jordi Vilasuso), a tall, dark handsome man who works at the Port of Miami. Things turn south when Shane becomes a prime suspect in a murder case and doesn’t have an alibi. With the help of a local news reporter Monica Gordon (Taylor Cole), Cameron tries to clear her fiance’s name but it’s not that easy. “Sometimes trust is a dead end street,” says the VO on the trailer.
Cameron is portrayed by Jenny Wade. She’s known for her roles on Hand of God (Heather Cladwell), Mad Men (Amy), Grimm (Casey), Wedding Band (Rachel), The Good Guys (ADA Liz Traynor), and Reaper (Nina), among others. Wade is also recognized for her roles in the films No Reservations (Leah), The Strip (Melissa), and the 2014 comedy Break Point (Vanessa) with Oscar winning actor J.K. Simmons. Below the Surface premieres on LMN on May 20 at 8pm. It will air again on May 21 at 12am and May 22 at 4pm.
