On the Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders episode “Iqiniso,” the IRT is called to investigate the murder of an American college student working in Johannesburg — and the disappearance of his brother. The team receives help from a profiler, Lieutenant Ananda Doshi (Bahni Tupin), and Brigadier General Yazeen Zwane.
General Zwane is portrayed by Mykelti Williamson. He’s known for his roles on Hawaii Five-0 (Clay Maxwell), Justified (Ellstin Limehouse), Nashville (Terry George), 24 (Brian Hastings), CSI: NY (Chief Brigham Sinclair), Boomtown (Detective Bobby “Fearless” Smith), The Fugitive (Lt. Philip Gerard), and Hill Street Blues (Off. Ron Garfield), among others. Williamson is also recognized for his roles in the films Forrest Gump (Bubba), Primary Colors (Dewayne Smith), Con-Air (Baby-O), Waiting to Exhale (Troy), Heat (Sergeant Drucker), and Three Kings (Colonel Horn), among others.
