On the Little Big Shots episode “The Idiom of Love,” host Steve Harvey meets ballet duo Avery Gay and Joziah “Joey” German. When Harvey asks Avery what made her get into ballet, she answers: “For me, ballet is the most challenging genre of dance, so you can never be perfect, and I love a challenge.” When Harvey asks Joziah what’s been the best thing for him about being a dancer, he answers, “It’s made me a gentleman mostly.” After the audience sighs, Harvey asks Joziah to elaborate and the young man does so with aplomb.
Joziah explains: “When I see a girl or when we’re dancing together I’ll always compliment her at the end and say thank you for working with me and stuff.” Harvey gives Joziah a high five and then asks Avery how she feels about that. She says with a smile, “It’s nice, very nice.” The tweens genuinely seems to like each other. Take a look at the photo below of them fooling around in Chicago.
