On The Real Housewives of New York City, the relationship between Dorinda Medley and boyfriend of four years John Mahdessian is the center of attention. Last season, Kristen Taekman accused John of being too touchy-feely. This season Bethenny Frankel is implying that he uses cocaine and Ramona Singer is spreading rumors about John bragging that he takes Viagra and “does Dorinda for six hours.” When John bursts into Dorinda’s lingerie party with all the ladies in attendance, Dorinda says, “I’m screwed.” (She doesn’t mean in the Viagra way.)
When not on Real Housewives, John Mahdessian runs the custom couture cleaning business Madame Paulette. This isn’t your average dry cleaning business. Fashion design icon Vera Wang says “The only establishment I can trust to maintain, renew and preserve my bridal collection is Madame Paulette.” And client Hermès, says, “The quality garments of Hermès couture collections will last for a lifetime when cleaned and preserved by Madame Paulette.” Mahdessian attended Donald Trump’s wedding to his current — and third — wife Melania, who wore a $250,000 dress by John Galliano, “just in case of emergency.” Madame Paulette is located on 1255 Second Avenue (between 65th and 66th Streets).
