The Live Playoffs have begun on Season 10 of The Voice. Coach Adam Levine gets to choose one singer to comeback and vie for a spot on his team and he chose Nate Butler. For his Blind Audition, Butler sang the Mayer Hawthorne song “The Walk.” For the Live Playoffs, he’s singing Hall & Oates’ classic ballad, “Sara Smile“. The refrain of the song is: “When I feel cold you warm me/ When I feel I can’t go on you come and hold me/ It’s you and me forever.”
The Sara of the song was Daryl Hall’s longtime girlfriend Sara Allen. They never married but were together for almost 30 years before breaking up in 2001. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
