In the TV movie Hunting Season, when Samantha Davis’ grandmother dies, she inherits an old family house in the country on 80 acres. “That sounds amazing,” Samantha says, at first. But once she gets there, Samantha does some digging and discovers the truth about her parents’ death. Her mother was 9 months pregnant with her when her father shot her in the forehead. During Samantha’s time in country, she’s confronted by the ghosts of her parents and other dubious characters with guns.
Samantha Davis is portrayed by Lauren Lee Smith. The Canadian-born actress is known for her roles on This Life (Maggie Lawson), Ascension (Samantha Krueger), The Listener (Michelle McCluskey), Good Dog (Claire), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Riley Adams), and The L Word (Lara Perkins), among others. Hunting Season premieres on LMN on March 20 at 8pm. It will air again on March 21 at 12am.
