In the pilot of The Real O’Neals, teenager Kenny (Noah Galvin) reveals to his Irish Catholic family that he’s gay. His mother Eileen (Martha Plimpton) doesn’t appreciate his confession and tries her best to “change him.” Now that the truth is out, Kenny must figure out a way to break up with his girlfriend Mimi.
