In the Criminal Minds episode “Derek,” Agent Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) is abducted and tortured. While the BAU tries to find him, Derek gets a visit from his father Hank Morgan who dishes out some tough love and occasionally tries to comfort his son. (Bonus: There’s a flashback showing Derek as a 10-year-old portrayed by Tyree Brown, the young actor who portrayed Dax Shepard’s son Jabbar on Parenthood.)
