A young man is using Facebook to try to find his biological father. It’s a simple story. A huge rock concert in 1996 resulted in a one-night-stand that turned into a human being. Now that apparently happy human being stands smiling years later and holds a up sign (see below) on Facebook seeking a “man named Jason” who attended the first K-Rockathon in 1996 in Vernon, New York. Jason was from Syracuse, as far as the young man knows.
In other words, Jette Collins is saying: hey Dad, remember that rocking K-Rockathon 20 years ago? It was fun for you and it’s been fun for me ever since. BTW, Jette says “I am not asking for anything. Just would like to meet my biological father.” Here is the lineup for that first K-Rockathon back in 1996:
- Butthole Surfers
- Gus
- Howlin’ Maggie
- Poe
- Reverend Horton Heat
- Seven Mary Three
- Solution A.D.
- The Refreshments
- Toadies
- The Verve Pipe
I don’t know if this actually works but I’m going to try it, just hoping for the best and a little luck. Help a kid out
