Mob Wives star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola was diagnosed with stage 4 brain and lung cancer. According to family members who created a GoFundMe page, she started chemotherapy on January 5. On January 26, her doctor said the treatment wasn’t working. Big Ang was recently sent to the emergency room. Her family members are raising money for cannabis oil as an alternative treatment. Big Ang’s sister wrote: “I am putting up this go fund me to try to help my sister to get this oil to help her at least be pain free.”
In just one day, the page raised more than $20,000 of the $25,000 needed. The highest donation came from radio talk show host Elvis Duran of Z100 in New York. Big Ang has been a guest on the show. Duran donated $5000. Mob Wives airs Wednesdays at 8pm on VH1.
