With OK! magazine presuming that the on-again (take break, marry tennis star) off-again romance between Kaley Cuoco and her The Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki is simmering once more, the Big Bang set is steeped in love again. It hasn’t been this hot on The Big Bang stage since the discovery of the Higgs boson. (Though Cuoco and Galecki will have to work hard to keep up with science’s latest revelation: Gravitational Waves exist!)
But if the Cuoco-Galecki tryst is a version of the famed “friends with benefits” relationship, it certainly takes this to a whole new level. Because lots of people have friends and sometimes they sleep together. But consider the word benefits beyond the sex part. Nobody but nobody on TV has benefits like the stars of The Big Bang Theory. Galecki and Cuoco, along with co-star Jim Parsons, negotiated new contracts last year to the tune of $1 million per episode. That’s benefits. If they’re having a bad day, they can battle it out by rolling up thousand dollar bills and throwing them at each other.
