On the Grandfathered episode “Perfect Physical Specimen,” Gerald (Josh Peck) discovers that his father Jimmy Martino (John Stamos) hasn’t seen a doctor in 10 years. So he and his mother Sara (Paget Brewster) trick Jimmy into visiting their family doctor, Dr. Melvoy who is portrayed by TV talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw.

In one scene, when Jimmy stands up after bending over Dr. Melvoy announces, “Well, that was an extremely unpleasant 20 minutes.” Jimmy follows that up with a joke about The Rock having a two percent chance of winning an Oscar. Dr. Melvoy replies, “God, I hate our dynamic.” Grandfathered airs Tuesdays at 8:30pm on Fox.
