On The Good Wife, Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) is running for president against Hillary Clinton. His new national strategist Ruth Eastman (Margo Martindale) is pulling out all the political tricks. She tells Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) to convince Peter’s “wife” Alicia (Julianna Margulies) to appear on a cooking show with her mother Veronica (Stockard Channing). The old “Hillary Clinton cookies” play doesn’t go as planned. To make Peter’s campaign more complicated, his mother Jackie reappears. And she meets with Lockhart, Agos and Lee partner Howard Lyman (Jerry Adler)!
