Rosie O’Donnell, in other words, is no different than fellow GOP candidate Marco Rubio, who Trump consistently belittles. The composed and serene Ivanka, a “businessperson, not a politician” she makes clear, may explain with her attitude why her father still polls highly among women. Trump seems to endorse a platform encouraging competition and meritocracy over crony capitalism — and that’s a platform women welcome.
