One of the Sister Wives, Meri has agreed to divorce her husband Kody so that he can legally marry wife #4 Robyn. The idea is to have polygamist Kody adopt Robyn’s three children (Dayton, Aurora, Breanna) from her first marriage. Robyn’s ex-husband, David Preston Jessop, “doesn’t [see the kids] out of choice,” Robyn tweeted. “I am not making them choose. I can’t control whether my ex chooses to take his time with them.”

Little is known about Jessop. The 36-year-old does not manage any social media accounts. And according to The Ashley Reality Roundup, he “seems to be living somewhat off the grid in Montana.” According to the book Becoming Sister Wives, Robyn says they planned for David to take a second wife but their marriage didn’t make it. They were married for nine years before Jessop filed for divorce. Jessop is no longer a member of the Apostolic United Brethren (AUB) church. Sister Wives airs Sundays at 9pm and 10pm on TLC.
