It’s been a tough year for actress Megan Fox. She and her husband of five years, Brian Austin Green (90210), announced that they’ve filed for divorce. But the 29-year-old mother of two is bouncing back by diving into work. Fox just landed a role on the TV comedy New Girl with Zooey Deschanel. Fox will play Reagan, a pharmaceutical sales rep who rents Jess’ room while Jess is on jury duty. Of course all of the guys will fight over Reagan.
New Girl creator/executive producer Liz Meriweather is giddy with excitement. Meriweather says of Fox: “It’s insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny, but I guess we just all have to accept it. I’ve been a fan of her comedic skills since This Is 40, and I’m so excited to have her on the show. We had Megan in mind when we wrote this part – she’s the perfect person to come in and shake these guys up.” Here’s the catch: you’ll have to wait until the sixth episode of the fifth season (premiering in January 2016) to see Fox on Fox!
