On the TV series Zoo, the team of young scientists searching for answers behind a rash of violent animal attacks in Africa travels to Paris. They’re not there for the food or wine. They’re looking for a group of missing bears. But that’s not the most dramatic part of the show, believe it or not. While in Paris, researcher Chloe Tousignant (Parisian-born Nora Arnezeder) is forced to work with her ex-fiance, a civil engineer named Jean-Michel Lion, who btw she found cheating on her with her sister.
Jean-Michel Lion (who we like to call the cowardly Lion) is portrayed by Simon Kassianides. The London-born actor is best known for his roles as Sunil Bakshi on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and as Yusef in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace with Daniel Craig. Or you might recognize his voice as No-Name in How to Train Your Dragon 2. Zoo airs Tuesdays at 9pm on CBS.
