R&B singer Robin Thicke is making a comeback with his single Back Together. Sure he looks the same (same hair, same suit, same aviator sunglasses) and sounds the same (it’s another “I want you back” Paula song), but this one features global phenom Nicki Minaj.
Thicke explained on Good Morning America that Jay Z recommended that he work with Nicki Minaj six or seven years ago on his song Shake It For Daddy. When Thicke was working on Back Together, he said, “I felt like it needed a little more spice, it just wasn’t quite spicy enough. So, we had to have that Nicki Minaj spice to take it over the top.” Thicke will be on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on August 13 at 11:35pm on NBC.
