Actress Katie Holmes was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The two play a round of “Say Anything.” It’s a free association kind of game. The only rule is that you don’t repeat a word that has been used before. Katie Holmes’ strategy was to try to ignore Fallon’s word and just blurt out innocuous words like moon, stars, sun, earth, jupiter, etc. But when Fallon says lace, she says underwear and then laughs and stumbles.
She tries her strategy again. She simply names the things that she sees in front of her: floor, lights, TV, and then “your shirt.” Fallon stands up and yells “that has nothing to do with what I just said!” (knife). Fallon wins. Every time Holmes stumbled, Fallon placed a strip of tape on her face (see photo above).
