Benton Blount is the bearded country singer who’s competing on America’s Got Talent. He hopes to get four yeses from the judges when they make their third round of cuts on July 28. Marlon Wayans, host of I Can Do That, will be a guest judge. Twenty acts will perform but only seven will move on.

Even before AGT, Blount has developed a loyal following. One of his biggest fans is MinnesotaCountry owner, Brandon G. Wallin. Wallin recently shared a video that Blount made with his baby son Jaxon. It’s called “Your First Lullaby” and it captures Blount singing a sweet lullaby to Jaxon who clearly enjoys his father’s voice. The homemade video was meant for Blount’s wife but Wallin posted it on YouTube, and so far its gotten more than 350,000 views. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
