John Podesta is the Chairman of the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. He was previously Chief of Staff to President Bill Clinton (1998-2001) and Counselor to President Barack Obama (2014-2015). The 66-year-old from Chicago started his political career in 1972 when he worked for George McGovern’s presidential campaign. In 1976 he graduated from Georgetown Law School.
Podesta is also founder of a think tank, the Center for American Progress. He will discuss the 2016 campaign on Meet the Press on Sunday, June 14 at 11am on MSNBC. Podesta will be joined by former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-Mass.).
