On Mistresses, Karen (Yunjin Kim) is in more pain than anticipated after her medical procedure. So Dr. Alec Adams, an internist at the hospital, pays her a house call. He doesn’t have the best bedside manner but he sure is nice to look at.

Alec is portrayed by Ed Quinn. The 6’4″ tall actor is best known for his roles on Revenge (James Allen), Eureka (Nathan Stark), True Blood (Stan), and CSI: NY (Frankie Mala). Fun fact about Quinn: he’s also a musician. He studied guitar with Joe Satriani and played with the LA bands Mad Theory and Scattergood. Mistresses airs Thursdays at 9pm on ABC.
