Standup comedian Drew Lynch is auditioning for the TV talent show America’s Got Talent on the season 10 premiere (May 26, 8pm). Drew always wanted to be an actor. But at the age of 20, at a company softball game, Drew got hit in the throat “causing some vocal trauma, turning his chattering into stuttering.” But his disability didn’t keep him from the stage.

Lynch has incorporated his disability into his routine. He had all the judges laughing when he compared his voice to a GPS system, right when you get lost and the system starts to break up. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
