Without saying the word divorce or mentioning her ex-husband Mario, Heather tells Ramona in a nice, calm way, “You’ve changed over the three years I’ve known you. There’s been a metamorphosis.” Ramona hears that as a dig. “People like you have this evasive wall up,” Ramona replies, going on to describe it as a wall of insincerity that has been built against her. When Heather says, “Honey, that’s your own wall.” Ramona says, “Now you’re being aggressive.” Heather tries to clarify what she meant by saying, calmly, “I’ve seen a lot of change and growth in you as a person.” But Ramona rejects Heather’s claim and interrupts her, “But Heather, I’ve always been this way.” As Luann says, “Every one in a while, Ramona slips up. We see the old Ramona coming out. She likes to sweep things under the carpet.” Real Housewives of New York airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
