Bachelorette Britt Nilsson Reads David Foster Wallace

The Bachelorette’s eleventh season begins with two bachelorettes, Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe. The 25 bachelors who are invited to the mansion get to vote to determine which one of the women stays. The Bachelor fans will remember Britt from the Chris Soules season. She’s the God-loving twentysomething waitress from Hollywood.

While Britt says she can’t live without her bible, makeup and cell phone, it might surprise some to learn that she also reads literature. She says David Foster Wallace and Dave Eggers are her favorite authors. “Both men have (or had) such a grasp of the human experience and the English language,” Britt says. The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 9pm on ABC.
