The TV series Justified is based on Elmore Leonard’s short story “Fire in the Hole.” It’s about a tough U.S. Marshal who’s “enforcing his own brand of justice” in his hometown of Harlan, Kentucky. For the sixth and final season, Ellstin Limehouse returns. Limehouse is the butcher who runs a diner in Nobel’s Holler. Mags entrusted him with all of her stashed money in season 3.
Ellstin Limehouse is portrayed by Mykelti Williamson. He’s best known for his roles as shrimp-loving Bubba Blue in Forrest Gump, Baby-O in Con Air, and Director Brian Hastings in 24. Fun fact about Williamson: as a teenager he was a dancer on Soul Train with Fred Berry (Re-Run on What’s Happening!!). Not a fun fact: Williamson was arrested in 1998 for stabbing his ex-wife Cheryl Chisholm’s partner Leroy Edwards. Williamson was acquitted of attempted manslaughter due to a hung jury. Justified airs Tuesdays at 10pm on FX.
